• Proportions

    Now that we know how to draw a Human Face, we can now give it a body to walk around on! The body has so many features, I am not going to go into all of them, but rather show you how to break down the proportions for a basic structure.

    The head method, as seen above, is the easiest way I can think to explain this. Once you have your head drawn out, draw eight heads the exact same size and stack them like a totem pole. Use a ruler to help you. The rule of thumb is that usually you are 8-9 heads tall. but usually 8.

    As stated in the Human Face tutorial, study your subject, get a feel for any overall shape, like the ones above. There are more than whats shown in the image. Use these as a guide to constructing the rest of your body.
